A day after the 9-11 tragedy, the New York Psychotherapy Collective jumped in and developed trauma groups to offer to those in need. We organized our own therapists and pulled in colleagues to help and we offered our services for free on a first come, first serve basis. As New Yorkers ourselves, we felt it important to be able to contribute. In all we provided over 300 clinical hours.
We are proud to have been able to provide groups for the following organizations:
Sullivan and Cromwell
Vedder Price Kaufman & Kammholz
Fire Department, Engine Company 219, Brooklyn New York
